About Mandy
Experience
Mandy has had the privilege over many years of supporting families and individuals, both children and adult, as they face the many challenges, and manage the traumas, that life presents to us all.
She has specialised particularly in the area of alcohol dependency and “adult children of alcoholics”, in supporting people with complex mental health issues, and in the last decade she’s focused primarily on assisting children with serious problem behaviours, and their parents.
Mandy has held a number of senior management positions in a couple of the larger charities, she always returns to therapeutic work one to one with individuals and families, or in groups, as that is her passion.
Supporting you in achieving and maintaining a healthy, balanced life.
I believe that one size does NOT fit all. I take a holistic approach to nutrition using evidence-based integrative and functional medicine. Approach
Mandy’s approach is to listen deeply, to show care and compassion, and to assist people to find their own unique answers in their situation. For this she draws on her extensive experience and a whole range of therapeutic models depending on what is most helpful to each individual or family.
Flowing from her belief that every person is of great value, Mandy is keen to support others to be able to recognise their own worth. Also important is developing the kind of ‘personal power’ in our own lives that all of us need, to be well and strong and happy, and able to maintain meaningful connections with those we are close to.
Something that has been a great strength to Mandy over many years has been ‘walking humbly with God’, and getting to know Him and love Him. She is quite comfortable to consult with clients on spiritual matters if they would like to.
